Martin Blough Company was founded on a call to service, protecting life, and property.  After serving in the Army, Martin Blough joined the Jackson Fire Department in Jackson, Mississippi.  Those years of service had a huge impact on his life.  In 1969, as all fireman, a "side hustle" was needed- a young married man with 3 small children, Martin took a step of faith and began selling Fire Trucks to various cities and towns throughout Mississippi; a few years later, he added fire extinguisher sales and service; later, for what he is best known, vent hood and fire suppression installations and services.

A note from Martin Blough: "We still have customers today that were with me in the beginning.  Together, we have seen our businesses and families have ups and downs, twists and turns, good times and bad times, and even passing down businesses to 2nd and 3rd generations...so many customers that I consider my close friends.  We have done life together.

Now with 8 employees, Martin's eldest daughter, Teresa Blough-Arnold is at the helm.  She will continue with all of her dad's services, including great customer care.  

Together, Martin and Teresa have added an additional service, USED COOKING OIL CONTAINERS AND REFINEMENT.  The only GREEN facility in the State of MS for responsible disposal and refinement.
